The Ricki Lake show
was the first appearance Laura has made as a Celebrity Lookalike. The topic was on celebrity lookalikes and how it would feel to be a star for a day.
The show dressed up each of the lookalikes up and sent them out on the streets to see if in fact the public thought they were the real deal. Laura was shocked to find out that the show did not set up the crowd to approach her for autographs but in fact the public believed she was Mariah until it was revealed that it was a taping for the Ricki Show
Other lookalikes on the show included: Tina Turner,Brandy, LL Cool Jay, Pamela Anderson, and Howard Stern.
